  • ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ S&P 500 declined 1.53% after a 3.5% intraweek reversal. This marked the lowest weekly close since September last year.
  • ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Nasdaq Composite lost 2.59% after a 2.7% drop on Friday, closing more than 5% off of the Tuesday peak.
  • ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Dow Jones Industrial fell 0.96% for the week.
  • ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Russell 2000 dropped 1.64% for the week to a new 8-month low.

  • ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง FTSE 100 eked out a 0.14% gain for the week.
  • ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช DAX dropped 1.88% for the week.
  • ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท CAC 40 fell 1.58% to its lowest weekly close since January.
  • ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ฐ C25 dropped 2.7% to its lowest weekly close since November 2023.
Asia
  • ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต Nikkei 225 declined 1.48% for the week.
  • ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ Hang Seng lost 1.11% but is still up almost 17% for the year so far.
  • ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ CSI 300 stayed flat for the week.
  • ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ Nifty 50 managed a 0.72% gain for the week.
  • ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท KOSPI dropped 3.22% for the week but is still up 6.6% in 2025.
  • ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ผ TSEC lost 2.73% and made its lowest close since September.

Currencies & Commodities

  • The DXY inched down by 0.13% but remained right above 104.
  • USD.EUR weakened by 0.21% for the week.
  • USD.DKK declined 0.14% to 6.888 kr. per USD.
  • USD.GBP inched 0.1% lower to 0.774.
  • USD.JPY strengthened by 0.35%.
  • USD.CNH eked out a 0.12% gain for the week.
  • Gold rallied 2.04% to yet another all-time high of $3,084 per ounce. This was the 12th winning week in 13.
  • Silver rallied 3.31% to its highest weekly close since 2012.
  • Copper eked out a 0.17% gain for a new record high but closed well off of its intraweek peak.
  • Bitcoin is down 2.8% for the week to $83,700 as of Saturday morning (CET).
  • The altcoin market is once again lagging Bitcoin, down 4.3% for the week. Ripple (XRP) is leading the way to the downside among the majors with a 12.8% loss while Solana (SOL) has only lost 4.6%.

Bond yields

  • ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ The US 2-year declined 1.06% for the week to close at 3.912%, its lowest level since September.
  • ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ The US 10-year closed unchanged for the week at 4.25% after a 2.52% drop on Friday.
  • ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ The Euro 2-year dropped 4.97% for the week and has now given back the majority of its 16% jump in early March.
  • ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ The Euro 10-year declined 1.09% to 2.728%.
  • ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ The China 10-year fell 1.57% and is back at 1.886% after briefly touching 2% last week.
  • ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ The China 30-year declined 1.45% to 2.04%.
